Can AI analysis be used to make official medical diagnoses?

Stethophone Pro is a Class II medical device cleared by FDA. This means that a healthcare professional can use the results of AI analysis during diagnostic process. However, Stethophone Pro itself does not provide the diagnosis, even though it can assist a healthcare professional in evaluating the symptoms and determining the medical diagnosis or the need for additional tests.
