How to breathe during the recording

When you would like to listen to or record your heart or lung sounds to share with your doctor using Stethophone Pro, following proper breathing techniques is important to ensure accurate sound analysis results.

Recording heart sounds:

When listening to and recording your heart, it’s generally recommended to breathe normally and avoid deep breaths. Normal breathing helps to maintain a consistent heart rate and minimizes any potential interference with heart sounds. It’s also important to avoid holding your breath or talking during the recording to prevent unnecessary noise.

Recording lung sounds:

For lung sounds, the breathing technique may vary depending on the specific area of the lungs being recorded. In general, taking slow, deep breaths through the mouth is often recommended to fully expand the lungs and promote clear airflow during both inhalation and exhalation.

Overall, the key is to maintain a steady and controlled breathing pattern during recording to ensure optimal conditions.
